Strategic Planning

A strategic planning process develops and delivers strategies that will best enable a nonprofit to advance its mission. Participants are committed to establishing measurable goals, priorities, and adjustments as internal and external conditions evolve. Defining the nonprofit’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) is a common starting point that examines internal factors and external conditions that inform forward movement.

Rosenfield Consulting has a team of experts that partner with professional and lay leadership to develop a tailored strategic planning process and solution. We do not embrace a one-size fits all approach. We consider the unique culture, attributes, resources, assets, and liabilities of each organization as we design a customized solution for each client.

"The Synagogue Council engaged Lee Rosenfield to facilitate our Strategic Planning process. He created a framework for the process and guided our professional and lay leadership to do the work required -- reflecting on our history, identifying what makes us unique, and considering the environment in which we exist.

We are abundantly grateful to Lee for his relational mindset. He was consistently available and supportive. His interpretations of the data were clear and honest and he was adept at leading the hard conversations. We were privileged to have had the opportunity to develop a relationship with him and to work together to do vital work. We have recommended him enthusiastically to others."
